SJC Planning understands that planning can be a daunting, and for some even a frightening prospect and that is why we are here to help, offering you a fully flexible service, based around your needs and requirements.
There are many reasons that you might find yourself involved within the planning process; you might be considering making a planning application for an extension, garden room or even a new dwelling, perhaps your neighbour has made an application and you would like some impartial advice seeking comfort that the proposals will not be detrimental to your own property. Whatever the reason, SJC Planning can provide guidance on how best to approach the planning system, ensuring that your interests are accurately represented and put into ‘planning talk’.
Because of the unique nature of each and every property various aspects need to be considered, such as:
... and so on! SJC Planning does not work to a set fee regime as many of the above considerations will not be applicable to your situation. However, please give us a call for a no obligation chat for a rough idea of likely costs (please note that in order to provide a contractual Fee Proposal, a consultation will need to be undertaken).
Whatever your starting point, SJC Planning will look at the project and ‘put it into planning’ to ensure that your project is given the most likely chance of success.
The starting point is for Simon to undertake a standard consultation, which includes a site visit (usually carried out during the consultation) and a desk based preliminary site investigation - looking for environmental or conservational issues, such as Conservation Area status, any protected trees and any land designations. This fee will include the follow up advice, in writing. This fee is entirely independent from any potential work and ‘stands alone’, so if your chances are nil, we won’t advise pursuing an application simply in order to generate fees for SJC Planning!
